I have seen drivers step on the brake and lock up the wheels on sheet ice... the car has so much momentum but it just slides on with no control.

Part of my emergency response driving assessment was to keep the car under control on an oil/water skid pan. Bedlam, but so much fun.

Spring - I love Spring, walking up the river and watching everything come alive again. I’ve seen 2 kingfishers more times this year than ever, the heron is on patrol, the robins queuing up for breakfast off my hand, the trees turning from skeletons into things of beauty, bright mornings & light evenings and meeting people with a smile on their faces instead of scowling behind a scarf & a hood. Love it

My pet hate - and I acknowledge its mostly a North American thing - is huge bloody trucks - usually driven by halfwits with a baseball cap on backwards.

Whenever you encounter an issue on the roads or in a parking lot, its inevitably a Ford F150, Dodge Ram or Chevy Silverado causing the chaos because these morons have no consideration for others.

I have no problem for guys who need them for work - contractors, landscapers, etc. But the vast majority may get used to take the lawn cuttings to the dump twice a year. The rest of the time they're just getting the way.

Just buy a normal vehicle you idiots!!!
