Position transfer poll

Post by Cjay »

If you had the choice where would you prefer the club spent the largest money in terms of transfer fee?

In theory meaning the big money signing.

Goalkeeper
Full back/wing back
Centre back
Holding midfielder
Centre midfield
Attacking midfielder
Winger
Striker
Signed

Playmaker

Think we're ok with striking options, but have nothing in the playmaking department

Playmaker for me, assuming we have no departures of strikers or other key players (e.g. Struijk, Guds, etc). I think having someone who can play the killer ball, or score 5-10 goals and assist the same throughout a season will actually open up space for DCL and potentially improve his goalscoring stats too.

Nmecha is good back up and I'm in the minority, but I'd like to see Harry Gray involved next season.

Not really a striker, more second striker or winger which is his best position, ditto Okafor, Nmecha is an Okafor replacement. Gray's a couple of years off...

Striker as given his history can we rely on full season from DCL?

Keeper for me, as long as it’s James Trafford. We can then sit back and not have to worry about that position again for years.

Sale of Perri to offset the significant outlay.

We do also need a striker though.

Wonder if we should re-run this poll now we have sold Struijk?
