I don't like Jagger's affected whine.... Music was good but last few albums were generic cliched junk

I listened to Zepp's first five albums yesterday.

The Battle of Evermore off IV is my favourite Zepp song.

I love Sylvain's solo acquired taste albums.

A pricey acquisition to my vinyl collection.

An often, much derided band…..suffering from the three-chord stigma. But, this is a tremendous and often overlooked, blast from the past, live album.

Curved Air's debut album

Their main members were Darryl Way, Francis Monkman & vocalist Sonja Kristina.

If we're doing top tens don't you start with the Beatles. I'd struggle with albums because finding a Beatles album with no skip tracks is a very rare thing if it exists. Most have 2/3 tracks you'd like to "mix out" Abbey Road has about 5

Anyway some thought needs to be given to top 10

Crack on, SH

The reason I hadn’t done a Beatles one was, that other than 64, there seems little love for the Beatles amongst posters.

Great songs band, not a great albums band .... When they're good they're better than anyone but they had to keep sticking fillers or comedy songs on albums

I have most of the albums, have since the early 80's and even then I mixed down albums onto tapes

I guessed we were only doing both your favoured bands.

Still have to sort out my Stones top ten yet.

So much going on in my life, I'm struggling to keep up to date

Great inner sleeve with Zac the Boxer in the photo.

And also information about who all the people are connected to the album.

A rocker from Rod & his boys.

A song written for Rod by Elton John & Bernie Taupin. Elton plays piano on the song.

Can't find the song on any of Elton's early & best albums, so it exclusively for his mate, Rod.

Another Rod album on the playlist this morning.

Never a dull moment back the those days for Rod & his band.

Probably the loudest band I saw at Leeds Uni with all their percussion/bongos. My ears were ringing.

Brilliant gig.
