I didn’t know! Wow. John was a year younger than me at school, and back in the day was in the ‘gang’ going to games. He ran the scoreboard and would intentionally put the score cards upside down. We’d all stand under the scoreboard and give him grief at having to work. Of course he had the last laugh - he not only got in free but he got paid as well.

A lovely lad. What a shock.
