West Ham win tomorrow which they probably will and we are in bother - these home bankers I keep hearing about vs Burnley and wolves are anything but at this stage of the season. You can see fate weaving its pattern toward a winner takes all showdown at the London stadium.

We got what we deserved from that game. Nothing.

Started with too many defensive players and finished with the default desperation of as many attacking players on the pitch as possible and no structure.

Fulham are a good team, I can't see West Ham winning there. Forest shouldn't get anything either.

I hope you are correct, I just envision them taking an early lead and hanging on - didn’t think I’d be cheering on a palace win a few weeks ago but also be good to see them win on Thursday. It would be one of the most shocking things in football in recent times if spurs were to go down.

Just back from the match and that was one of worst games of football I've seen live for a very long time (and I watch my local 9th tier side when it doesn't clash with Leeds).

Sunderland came with a clear plan to stop us playing, breaking up play, slowing the game down through whatever means they could get away with, and sneaking a set piece goal. We played into our their hands showing them far too much respect in the first half and then, after they took the lead , throwing on front men without any real plan as to how to break them down.

Hopefully this is simply just one bad night but our lack of goals is worrying and players who we have relied on eg ampadu and Aaronson are out of form. we need to use the cup game to regroup and get that winning rhythm back or we will be looking nervously over our shoulders for the next few weeks.

I haven’t missed a home game since 2011 now, and that one is definitely in my top 5 of worst games witnessed.

I don’t disagree with anything you mention, other than I thought at least Aaronsson gave it a go, along with Gudmundsson.

Both of whom looked poor on TV close up. Aaronson was way too chaotic, Gudds again with zero end product from a number of good positions... I don't think it's a fluke he has zero goals and assists, but is one of the leading get balls into the box players. Think I'd like to see Justin there and Bijol back in the middle, as Finn says at least we got points from that formation
