I should take some writing lessons off him so apologies to OB if my post came across as crass and to anyone else who thought I’d lost the plot.

I have read one of OB's books, and am part way through another, so I echo Cussies sentiments that OB should look to publishing them...

Cussie, i dont think anyone who read your post thought it was crass or anything even remotely near it. My response to your post was just a piss take :) and maybe that didnt read like it should have.
Im sure OB took your post in the best possible taste, as he wears his blonde wig, stockings and crosses his legs, just like Kenny Everett

If you publish, I will buy it.

I’m appalled. That Cussie is just a bad, bad egg and needs to be spanked by my good friend, Ms Swan. And as for your comments on my wig and stockings - you promised not to talk. Shame on you across-the-water people.

DM me your email and I’ll send you a pdf file. If I’m really honest, I’m not good enough with computers and haven’t got a clue how to publish on Kindle. Anybody got any experience?

Muppet the Cat wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 9:01 pm The image on the cover of the Giger book looks very much indeed like (as I recall it) the gatefold cover to a 7" flexi disc I had back in the mid 70's from ELP. I think my Dad got it free in a magazine and it was extracts from Brain Salad Surgery, but I'd never had/seen a flexi disc before that, so was a bit of a novelty. I'm not sure if I still have it anywhere :duno:

Apparently, Giger did a few pieces of artwork for the Brain Salad Surgery album.
He also did album art for Debbie Harry,Magma, and The Dead Kennedys.

Nope, it’s the one my parents gave me. A Scottish writer named Burns, who’d have thunk it.
