I think he's our most consistent keeper. I dare say Meslier and Perri will pull off the odd better save but all round I think he is more consistent. I think he's much calmer than the other two too.

Do you see Bijol getting a look in bar injury?

Pascal was harshly judged last time we were in the Premier League because he spent most time at DM or LB. He is a very good defender.

Overall I think the recruitment has been pretty good going into this season, considering how little was spent.

IMO better than it was going into the 2020/21 season after being promoted, with all those dud Spanish signings.

Norwich had 6 points from the first 5 games and the same goal difference and sat in 13th in his 1st Premier league season.
So less in fact. Now if we had drawn or lost, the opportunity to mention that Farke had six points from the first 5 games at Norwich and still got relegated has unfortunately for you - a rather lead balloon feeling I would suggest.

Needs to be better with the ball.

His goal was probably decisive, though.

I went for 8 too, Andrew.

Let's hope we acquire at least a point against Bournemouth.

It builds confidence within the squad. It is still early days and I will not get carried away, but our start to season is very promising. We look solid defensively and can match teams physically. There are many stiffer tests to come without a doubt.

That is a tough game, a point would be a decent result, they are flying this season so far.

I can't think of one, but I'll leave up to the statistician to confirm the last time it happened at Leeds.

I was scratching my head to think of one. I ruled our the Revie-era, because we didn't make so many signings in those years.

Perri certainly has something to prove now. Not #1 by rights. He might be sitting on the bench until Darlow f's up.

DDB220 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 20, 2025 4:36 pm He works tirelessly - we pretty much gave them little change on either flank. All they could do was pump the ball into the box speculatively.

I get why he divides opinion, but he often receives the ball in an isolated position and still loses possession too easily on occasion - simply because he is looking for the free kick more often than not. He got a fair few today and his tracking back was phenomenal.

I can see why he is in the starting 11, particularly away from home.

Gud had the fastest player in the league in his pocket. Fantastic performance and probably my MoTM, but there was some great performances all over the pitch.
He baffles a bit. Great work rate. Contributes enough. But often gets stuck as he doesn't have the pace or trickery (you need one of those) for a wide man. More suited to the 10 role. But unsure if we'll have a 10 role this season.

James Justin is a more-than-ample replacement if Bogle is out. That said, HOW GOOD IS BOGLE? Blunts hardly gave him a chance when they were promoted to the Prem: that's how we got him. He's surprised me tbh...

I think Rodon has been more assured than Strujik the past couple of seasons. But Strujik is better quality and has a higher ceiling. At the moment, it may be Rodon's spot that is more under threat. But no change necessary right now. Farke was a bit harsh in the presser, basically saying Bijol didn't help himself by being suspended for the first game and the performance at Wednesday,
