No I wouldn't. We say we ease him in slowly, but then when there's an opportunity we don't take it. He won't come on if it's 0-0 or 1-0, so why not take a chance while we can?

Fantastic result, one we very much needed with 2 tough home games coming up - looked bad for Bogle though, hope he was just been cautious not putting weight on it.

Against the bigger teams I think we doThe Subhuman wrote: ↑Sat Sep 20, 2025 3:57 pm I think Longstaff is a poor man's Stach and we don't need both on the pitch at the same time.
Yet to be convinced that Tanaka has the physique to do it against the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal. But I'm waiting to be proved wrong.

Aronson is a better player than he's given credit for. Wins us many free kicks and his running, back tracking and defensive work is second to none in this team...

Casual observers may look at the stats and think Wolves were the better team
Despite the numbers, we were much better than them

I'd love to see Harry getting involved
Thing is Harry is getting plenty of minutes in the 21's and is fully fit
Farke has to get minutes for his senior players somehow. Can't just expect Justin, Tanaka, Nmecha, and Gruev to sit on the bench for 3 weeks then come in and do a job when needed

A few faults in Okafor first half. But showed plenty of quality. Definitely an improvement for us.ElKapitan wrote: ↑Sat Sep 20, 2025 4:04 pm Great performance that.
Really was....
I hope Calvert lewin can stay fit and get sharper, he would be the difference.
Okafor while I'm not convinced he was the right signing is very much a player who could come good in a big way, injuries again have stopped that from happening before. Could be key.
Good balance, looked a bit more open defensively but a lot better going forwards..... More direct....
Added goals confidence to new players is up (all great finishes)..... Can only be a good thing knowing we can score in open play.

They probably had more than we had tbfandrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Sat Sep 20, 2025 3:50 pm Apart from their goal their chances haven't been too clear cut. Lots of high balls into the box. But positionally Strujik, Rodon, and Ampadu have been strong and made every chance difficult
Darlow was the busier keeper and made atleast 2 decent saves from good chances (a header and I forget the other).
But our defence did a lot of bodies on the line stuff to stub out other potential good chances which is there job as Roy Keane would say

Wasn't able to watch live. Have it recorded. Great win!!
I do believe I got the score and the first scorer correct. Well that's a bonus for an excellent day at the office.
I'm looking forward to watching it later.

Okafor better 2nd half imo weirdly.
Less involved but when he was he was better with it.
Took his goal well.
Credit to DCL, that's the first time he's looked like he might be what we need with his all round game and he took that header well because at best it was a half chance.

He walked onto the pitch after the game with no crutches or assistance. So would assume it's just bruising.

I said 8 points from 6. And thought I was being optimistic. Very good chance it could be 10.

Had to pop out second half, listened on the radio.
Exactly the game we needed. Responded well to going one nil down, great period proved we can score then a very solid second half to see things out.

Only saw from 57 minutes onwards but we looked pretty comfortable.
Wolves were just lumping into the box and hoping for the best.
Great result and up to 9th place!!
