Why are you concentrating on highlighting their goal. We won 3-1 ffs away from home.White Riot wrote: ↑Sat Sep 20, 2025 3:52 pm We have defended pretty well today.
Just a shame we were asleep for their goal, we can't afford moments like that at this level cos you get punished every time.
Tremendous result - nothing but positives from that unless you want to nick pick.

That's itThe Subhuman wrote: ↑Sat Sep 20, 2025 3:57 pm I think Longstaff is a poor man's Stach and we don't need both on the pitch at the same time.
I know Farke loves his DCMs, but come on man, how many of them are we gonna field?

Excellent display in a must-win. Can certainly see we have a solid shape with a decent defensive foundation. Thank God for being clinical as I still think we're lacking going forward.
No poor performances today, with Stach, Guds, and Darlow the pick of the players. Big shout out though to Rodon, Struijk, and Ampadu who, after that early goal, made it very difficult for Wolves forwards.
As SH said, relieves the pressure on us for a short while with two home games coming up.

WE WON A GAME!!!!!!
Good away performance.
Slow start but got the win In the end.
Stach and Gudmundsson the standouts with a word of praise for DCL.
Defence also did well putting bodies on the line stopping some dangerous situations.
Darlow with a good save or two as well.
Don't think Sa had to make a save but a direct free kick and a header!!!! Miracles
Vital 3 points

Re: Wolverhampton Wanderers v Leeds Utd Match Thread
That was a good performance overall. Stats were all Wolves. But I always think we looked comforatble. Defended better and had better spark than them going forward. Almost all of their 15 chances were half chances.
Reassuring. We're clearly not one of the worst in this league.
DCL not MOTM but his quality at this level is clear. If he'd been playing for Wolves he might have had a couple from their hopeful pumps into the box. Definitely a real premier league striker that makes a big difference
Guds back to his early promise. I called him the new Dorigo after Everton. Really good game today.
Stach showed his class for the assist and the best free kick Leeds fans have seen in years
Darlow looks better with some game time. 2 more quality saves today and assured in everything else
Rodon, Strujik and Ampadu owned the box
Not much to fault really (Aaronson running into blind alleys and falling over?) Good game from everyone.
3 points against anyone away is a bonus. Nothing to worry about.

Re: Wolverhampton Wanderers v Leeds Utd Match Thread
Great performance that.
Really was....
I hope Calvert lewin can stay fit and get sharper, he would be the difference.
Okafor while I'm not convinced he was the right signing is very much a player who could come good in a big way, injuries again have stopped that from happening before. Could be key.
Good balance, looked a bit more open defensively but a lot better going forwards..... More direct....
Added goals confidence to new players is up (all great finishes)..... Can only be a good thing knowing we can score in open play.
