Coventry didn't threaten until they were 2 down. Imagine it might have been much tighter at the back from them if we hadn't scored early.
I think the plan was contain first 20 or so minutes then look for mistakes.
They had less than 30% possession first 15 minutes we'd only had 2 shots to 1.
They weren't threatening but we weren't creating, familiar away theme.
After the 1st goal they had no choice but to push out (the possession went up massively and gaps appeared).
1st goal forced them to change probably earlier than they planned.

For now, looks like Farke likes Gruev for the away games and Rothwell for the home games.
4 top choices in midfield pushes Ampadu into center back. Looks like it will take an injury for Strujik to get back in.
Struijk comes back in when Farke is happy with his fitness. The triangle of Rodon Amps and Struijk is quality. Tanaka and Rothwell will dovetail. Not sure Gruev will get many starts tbh when Struijk is match fit.

The push on Aaronson in his back as he was just about to shoot was also a disgrace.
Aye the ref bottled that one. BA does tend to exaggerate when he does down and refs will know this. But that was a clear one for me, defender stepped across him and was no where near the ball.

Both had 20/25 minutes good periods, but they weren't sustained performances.
I have to say I fear Sunderland at ER more than the Blunts game at Bramall Lane.
Blunts will park the bus and try nick a goal, whereas Sunderland will be more open. I see it being similar to the Boro game and we might need a late goal to win it.
