At last. A target. Bamford. Bet we stop putting crosses in now.

Gnonto had been our best attacker - not fully fit?

This. They have us in their pocket at the back, crosses chipped in are useless.Orange Box wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2024 2:57 pm Another soft cross into the 6 yard box. Pointless tactic.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Leeds Utd Match Thread
I think its more to do with we have played teams who set up like this numerous times over the course of a season and continue to play into their hands.DDB220 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2024 2:32 pm It is half time, 1 goal in it. Some of the reactions are are rather OTT to me.
Give credit to Blackburn they have done their homework. Up to DF to counteract their game plan.
Rami on the left is probably more suited to get the best out of Firpo offensively. What we are witnessing defensively from him is no different to any game he plays in. He is very rarely the first contact player. Opposition Pace will always be a problem for us on that side.
Wasn't it Blackburn who started off the dismal run in last year where teams copied the "crowd out and frustrate leaving no room behind" tactic that saw us not promoted last year?
Big fan of farke but there's something to keeping teams guessing as to how we'll set up/play. At the moment we are far too predictable for me. If teams play football against us the quality of player we have shows (swansea) if teams set up to make us break them down we struggle.... This is not a new thing and hasn't been resolved.
Fair play to Blackburn well set up and drilled defensively with the ability to cause problems on the break and scruffyness with physicality to disrupt our play but these are the games a point gets us over the line late on.... Either batter decent sides or lose against middling teams who sit back.
Don't think its OTT to expect this issue to be addressed in a two year period with the financial weight we have over all other sides in the championship.

Was that a card on Ramazani? Don’t think that warranted a card.
