True I was trying to be nice though, hence didn't mention two pieces of lovely work by Piroe dying at the feet of Aaronson . . . .

Bit of both maybe?

Was thinking similarly about Rothwell. Been a bit too quiet this half.

Lots of the ball but Luton could have scored 2.

Struijk been a rock and Solomon been very lively.
Yep. His second quality start since the Norwich playoff game.

I'd like to see Big Josh on soon. Midfield looks wide open once again.

Noticeable that we've hit a few more long balls than usual. It works really well when you have the quality wingers that we do,

Not sure if this is a general tactic. Or just something that we've spotted as an opportunity specifically against Luton. But it's good to see as it makes us a lot more incisive and dangerous.

Pascal’s clearance was breathtaking. We’ll be fighting off approaches for that lad in January.

Willy fully on it, great to see.

Joel looking more like an all-round asset, and gets his goal.

Good half.

Agreed. Maybe he’s been reading MOT’s fan comments! But nonetheless, I like the energy on display from him. Goal or no goal, he’s had a good match so far.

He is doing his job, recycling the ball well, all about control and he played probably the pass of the first half, his set pieces have been good. You cannot aim for one person from the corner as it becomes predictable. All they have to do is block Struijk.

Does Firpo get back in the side, considering the budding relationship between Byram and Solomon, which looks pretty good to me.

No worries :-D Just annoys me that we don't target Struijk, as we seem to score when he gets a clean header. The other one is Byram, who's good from set pieces.

A very good point!! here's hoping.

It's an easy journey to blackburn (75 mins in a coach...not a big stretch).

Good half.
Some were calling Strujik the best defender in the championship before he got injured last season. Think we would have lost him in the summer if not for the injury.

If we look odds on to go up in January, I'm pretty sure we'll hang on to him.

He’s been up there. Solomon and Tanaka, as well. Byram, too.

Byram can't play 3 games in a week

He'll have as much game time as he can handle this season just filling in for Firpo and Bogle

Thankfully they're playing tonight too, so at least we'll both be in the same position. We owe them one too.
