Bit like an inaccurate QB, he will find his WR every now and again... Rothwell very poor up till then, 85% of his passes went backwards even when players were available, no tackles no interceptions and no forward runs.

Superb half. Maybe one of the best of the season.
I declare my love for Saint Daniel and I can shoehorn him in to any conversation.

Is that another pre-assist for Struijk?

For me it is much better!! My only point is that we pay Piroe to score goals. Which is not to say that he hasn't been pretty good today as a deeper playmaker. But that's NOT what we are paying him to do. He's paid to score goals for us. And now he has.

Pretty creative against a packed defence. Luton don’t have good defensive shape, they just have lots of bodies. Great end to the half, we needed that second. Solomon my pick, with Tanaka close.
I have to mention Meslier. What was he doing? I’ve never seen a keeper make himself so small as a he stuttered to that ball. Thank G for pascal.

Dominated the half and quite inventive with our play, yet two lapses nearly cost us

Piroe had a very good first half. Even without the goal. Full credit to him today.

Piroe my MOTM so far from Tanaka and Solomon and Strujk in joint third. Struijk goal "save" counting highly. Likely a different game at 1-1
Performance has been a bit low energy and with the handbrake on a lot at times,

It's that Norwich play off game from last season when he played so well. And the Sunderland game this season. The sad part is I can tell you which games he played like this in 5 seconds.Clitheroe White wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 8:11 pm Piroe seems more mobile tonight. Popping up and getting hold of the ball a lot more. Why doesn't he do this every game?

Piroe best player on the pitch.
Lots of the ball but Luton could have scored 2.
Struijk been a rock and Solomon been very lively.

Not keen on that image AshAcrossThePondAsh wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 8:39 pm Lots of variety in the attack, Finn. But two a**-puckering chances from Luton.

Why?
He's keeping Crew out of the team

I liked Solomon first half. Turning into an interesting player
Tanaka as always all over the place.
Piroe having a good game too.
Maybe Gnonto a bit disappointing.
