Certainly hope the 2 weeks is good for Schmidt. We can't depend solely on Byram and Bogle. 3 games in a week and Firpo to miss two. Time to get Gilly up to speed too.
Not sure if Solomon is going away but that would be good for his match fitness. Same for Wober - if he's ever going to be any use for us. Nice that Dan James had a bit of a rest today if he's going to play for Wales. And will be nice for Junior to get some internationals since he'll miss two games for us. And maybe Joseph can bag another hat trick for his confidence.

So you think there are at least 3 better teams in the Championship, but you don't know who they are.
Makes sense .

Its almost like other teams are not allowed to have a say in a game against Leeds. How dare they frustrate us and make life difficult for us. These fans who demand 100% perfection from us would be best going elsewhere and supporting another team, who might give them more enjoyment.
Its football, things don`t always go as planned. You are going to have games were its a bit of a struggle and as seems to be the case with us, we miss too many decent chances. That`s not Farke`s fault, its the players fault, despite some fans with their constant gripes saying it is.
If some of our fans are this pissed off with the team at present, i dread to think how its going to be if we do get promoted an are being hammered every other week.
We have no divine right to be promoted, at present we are in a good position to do that, but lets wait and see how things turn out.

How do you work that one out. We're the ones still stuck in this division.andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 5:58 pm There wasn't a better team than us in the championship last season

Good summary Cjay.Cjay wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 5:03 pm Made hard work of it in the end.
QPR tbf to them aren't as bad as the table suggests and you'd imagine with a full strength squad or even half as few injuries they'd be higher up the table.
Did alright 1st half, controlled the game, Tanaka and Rothwell injecting some much needed pace into things and vertical passes which can often be lacking.
Aaronson had a brighter 1st half, faded 2nd half with some poor moments imo but did OK.
All in we got the job done, don't think Joseph did anything after the clamour for him to start, fluffed a chance and was bullied off the ball numerous times.
Looked better once the subs came on seemed to give us a bit more get up and go.
Bit worrying how close we let QPR get to scoring though 2nd half, the drop off and malaise that sets in for us too often needs correcting.
But wins a win.
Against a slightly better side, we might have been 2-1 down with 5 minutes to go, victims of our own profligacy once again.
As it was, we got away with it. Mateo did nothing with the chance to stake a claim, and Piroe did what he does in the end, fair play to him.
Everyone looked good against poor opposition, but Tanaka stood out again. I thought both Schmidt and Guilavogui looked good in their cameos.
A fairly unconvincing victory overall, but 3 points gained and now only 2 off the top. Roll on November 24th.

We didn't LET QPR get close to scoring, i`m fairly sure our players tried not to let that happen. Yet again we prefer to s**t all over our own team before giving opponents any praise for doing something well themselves.

Joseph should have a look at Piroe’s finishing.
Outside of the foot was it. Quality.
Amazed how much more positive we were with the subs. Thats not Farke’s strong point is it

we scored 2 goals BUT we should of scored lots more. Poor finishing yet again. Bogle was again very poor at defending.

There definitely was. The one that went just over was probably their best chance.
