Late due to work. I thought the 2 early goals just took the edge off our intensity but we still created enough space and chances to have won 2 games first half. From our perspective it was too routing second half. We made them look better than they were. We defo missed Ramz spark when he went off. Solomon is a strange looking winger. I thought our wide players, especially Willy should have put the ball in the box more rather than pulling the trigger. We deserved that luck with their keeper having a mare.

Meslier 6:
Bogle 7:
Rodon 7:
Struijk - 7: Should have done better for their goal.
Firpo 6:
Tanaka 9: Didn't put a foot wrong again. Oustanding.
Rothwell 6: Never really got going Joe. Ok first half non entity for most of the second.
Ramazani 7: A real spark when he was on and if you don't shoot.
Aaronson 7.5: Lively for the most part and took is goal really well.
Gnonto 6: A little greedy in moments.
Piroe 5: When we are not on the front foot he doesn't feature much. Joseph would be better suited to that sort of game in hindsight.

Solomon 5: I think we should try him at 10

As the purists will tell ya it the 3 points that ultimately matter. On to Bristol for another warm welcome.

I almost gave Ao 10/10, had he scored or assisted a goal, I probably would have awarded him the highest rating.

Outstanding indeed.

27 excellent/very good pieces of play

8 passes
7 tackles
4 interceptions
2 delightful turns
1 sublime ball control
2 runs
1 defensive header
1 headed-pass
1 block

Foot perfect, not one negative.

This lad is ready-made for the Premier League.

My sentiments entirely.

You were very generous with a 5/10, two decent pieces of play (one a delightful flick to Gnonto) in 70 minutes is unacceptable.

He was the best player on the park by a distance. Not having watched the lad previously the physical side of his game has surprised me most. I am still struggling to get my head around Piroe's game.

Tanaka is quite tall at 6ft for a Jap. I enjoyed his physicality, passing skills, positioning & anticipation. His all-round game is impressive. Incredibly, Ao has settled in quickly at Leeds after making only four full 90 minutes starts, although he has made nearly 30 appearances for Japan.

I'm saying no more about Piroe, apart from I hope I'll be full of praise for him after the Bristol City game.
