Djokovic is too old now. His slam winning days are over. The happiest person in the world is probably Margaret Court.

Doubt it. I don't think she cares about tennis very much these days. But I get where you're coming from.

She’s very anti gay isn’t she. Opposing same sex marriage etc. Not too popular with the likes of Navratilova & King.

Yes, very vociferous. She's upset a lot of people by the way she goes about her views. There was even a lot of shouting for her name to be removed from one of the Ozzie courts that was named after her.

Yes the Margaret Court Court case went to court.
The court decided that the Court court could keep its Court title and then the judge dismissed the court.
I rest my case. As it’s quite heavy.

Closest thing we have to a tennis thread far as I know.

One of the all time greats has announced his retirement at the end of this tennis season next month.

Rafa Nadal.

Murray retired recently too didn't he? Also end of an era. He won two Wimbledons, one US and two Olympic and did it with Nadal, Federer and Djokovic playing. 5 titles in the greatest era of tennis

Just cant stand Murray. His retirement was embarrassing tbh. Cringe fest.
And he cant be mentioned in the same breath as Nadal Jockeyvic or Federer. Nowhere near their level.
Jockey 24
Nadger 22
Fed 20
Murray 3

But is up there as one of Britain's greatest sportsmen... Maybe only Hamilton is better and he had a car that was faster than the rest

And certainly end of an era for British tennis..
