Move him on, he has had more than enough time to progress and not done enough for me.

Not good enough imo . Always a mistake or two in him , don't have any faith in him and when his confidence goes ........

Re: Illan Meslier poll
I’ve mentioned it several times.
He’s a decent enough young keeper, pulls out some important saves (Leicester, Norwich to name just two) but this talk of we’ve got a £30M to £40M goalkeeper on our hands is pie in the sky for me.
£20M and I’d move him on.

Like Barlow, I’d start again with the right offer. If he stays, I’d like to see them bring someone in who will properly contest the number 1 spot and keep him at the top of his game.

Re: Illan Meslier poll
Not the best shot-stopper anymore. Uselessly flaps at corners. Doesn’t know how to catch under pressure. See what offers come in - I doubt we’ll be talking big numbers.

Re: Illan Meslier poll
It's time to for him to go,he doesn't seem to be improving having said that he's saved us from defeat a few times, this season question is who do you replace him with ?

Re: Illan Meslier poll
Not perfect by any stretch, but where are we going to get a better keeper at this level?
If someone wants to offer mad money for him let him go, but absent a ridiculous offer we should keep him.

I voted to keep, but not fussed either way, as he doesn't command the box, but makes crucial saves also.
So 50/50 for me.

I only think Mes will move on if a bid comes in from a European club.
So a tentative keep for me.
Re: Illan Meslier poll
Keep for me unless we get a substantial offer and or he wants to go. Still only young and learning. Needs to command his box more and be braver but after the last couple of years i thought he bounced back well with the golden glove accolade . Would have been even better had it not been for the International break.
I can think of more pressing positions to fill.

A decent bid and I'd sell. Like others have said I don't think there has been much improvement over the years that he has been here. Still talking about potential. As I mentioned elsewhere McCarthy is out of contract and I feel a move for him would be a good idea.

Definitely keep him. Touted by top league clubs for 2 or 3 years. Still young and will improve.

I'd keep him, but it's dependent on who we sign over the summer. Would he be prepared to be a No2 ?

Re: Illan Meslier poll
I think Meslier had a good season for us, not many errors, but made some vital saves to keep us in games including the play off final. We could do a lot worse, and if we move him on, i suspect we will.
