I had a try of this Japanese whisky, very nice but  €12 a shot.
It went rather well with the 7.8% dark ale.

I bought a bottle of Japanese malt years ago. It was fab. Suntory I think.

Never been able to get a taste for whisky bar in an Irish coffee but I do love and drink a lot of high quality Sherry. What I didn’t know was a lot of top class whisky is “finished” in various types of old sherry butts. Some famous single malts spend their entire aging process in them. Quite an interesting fact 😉
