Hope Ross Stewart is fit to play but miles off match fit.

He's basically the ideal number 9, despite his injury issues last season he had 9 goals and 3 assists in 1000 minutes, a goal or assist a game.

Strong, quick, really good player, Southampton probably been top 2 had he been fit all season.

Hopefully Che Adams can only do a cameo as well.

This game scares the heck out of me. They beat us twice for a reason.

They present us with match-up problems we're going to have a hard time dealing with; particularly in the midfield. Gruev and Kamara are going to have to come up big as I'm assuming Farke will name an unchanged lineup from last Thursday.

All that being said, if those same eleven play as well as they did last Thursday I expect we'll be in the EPL next season.

Yes, the game’s won or lost in midfield, and not only nullifying Smallbone & Downes but also stopping their CBs marauding through unopposed.

But I believe we have it in us to batter this side - they are not invincible and we have the talent.

I think when teams are pretty evenly matched player for player it becomes more about the managers.

They can make the difference or be the problem.

Much more of a tactical battle imo.

Saw,that 1st game vs Leicester where i think DF had his best game.

Games like Sunday are where managers earn the money.

Hopefully DF has learned a,lot from the last 2 Southampton games and even seeing what Leicester did to them.

This and I think we were overly aggressive from the off in order to try and score a quick goal and put pressure on Ipswich in case they slipped up and auto-promotion was still a possibility.

So Weasel what dya reckon ? How should he go abart this ?

I reckon we'll know from the very first minute myself.

The 3-0 first half maulin they gave us should've taught him all he needs to know, and to not fck about too deep bringing it out.

What do you think will and won't work v Soton ?

The FA Cup, League 1 and League 2 playoff finals have all been won by teams who lost both games in the league season . . . . . . .

Wow. Brill video, it really moved me. If that doesn't spur the team on I don't know what will....oh, thousands of Leeds fans at Wembley of course will as well :scar1

Some fans are saying this is how they will line up. Smallbone and KWP against Firpo... hope Jimmy and Glenn can help him out.

I'm not worried about Southampton at all, and couldn't care less what team they put out

As long as we go out there with belief and play as we did against Norwich we'll fkn roast them.

Let them do all the worrying.

We should be going 4-3-3 out of possession imo as said before.

It's exactly what Leicester did and is the ideal formation to stop them having the central overloads they've had both games.

The 4-4-2 one DF uses fundamentally can't work vs there flexible 4-3-3 or 5-3-2

They either have a spare cb or a spare cm.
