I had a try of this Japanese whisky, very nice but €12 a shot.
It went rather well with the 7.8% dark ale.

I bought a bottle of Japanese malt years ago. It was fab. Suntory I think.

Finished off the bottle of Smokehead last night, I've been storing eighteen months.

Never been able to get a taste for whisky bar in an Irish coffee but I do love and drink a lot of high quality Sherry. What I didn’t know was a lot of top class whisky is “finished” in various types of old sherry butts. Some famous single malts spend their entire aging process in them. Quite an interesting fact

Its an underrated drink but a glass of chilled manzanilla always tastes better in warm weather. Fat chance in the UK atm

The easterly wind is the problem for us folk who live on the east side of the UK.
