Can understand Kompany leaving Burnley for Bayern, after a relegation he probably can't believe his luck

I don't see what Maresca has done to interest anyone? Sacked after 12 games I think with Parma, 1 season with the biggest budget in the league to get 97 points, not a record breaking total.

Atleast Mckenna has done something truly impressive but he's still really young, he could survive a relegation with Ipswich provided he isn't awful and still get a Premier League job.
Kompany to Bayern is very odd. Won’t end well.

Maresca has done nothing to get a top club.

If McKenna goes to Chelsea (he’s the current favourite) we’ll find out how good he is.

I wonder who’s favourite for the Ipswich job if he goes. Mind you maybe he won’t as he was always going to be the subject of speculation.
On the local news they said he definitely won’t sign an improved offer from Ipswich. How do they know?
Also they were saying it would take £4 million to prize him away from Ipswich as if that’s a lot of money 😂

Kompany might be better with better players to choose from, massive difference between Bayern or Burnley.
Mckenna might be the next Potter.

That’s a big job for a bloke that just got relegated from the PL. I’m pretty sure Bayern fans are underwhelmed. He won’t last. No chance.

Gotta admit, if I were a BM fan I would be perplexed to say the least, bit like when we got Hockaday.
Must add, hope it's the demise of the twats as well  :)

Both look like Hail Mary punts to me. Time will tell but I'm happy that it is all happening over there and not in our house :)

West Ham and Brazil player Lucas Paqueta has been charged by the FA for basically spot fixing.

He could face criminal charges and a lifetime ban.

These are the incidents in question.

This is being reported as done

Bayern will pay £8-10million.

Kinda thinking that the success of Xabi Alonso has made other clubs look for the next big thing rather than proven top level managers.

Alonso only had a promotion with Real Sociedad reserves to his name when Leverkusen appointed him.

Bayern going for Kompany after a solid but unspectacular job in Belgium and a great season in the 2nd division followed by a relegation.

Mckenna with his double lower league promotions linked to Manure, Brighton and Chelsea.

Maresca after his Parma flop and his Leicester success with his cheating budget linked to Chelsea

Is this modern football where the next talented young manager just goes to a big club without even managing a game with the newly promoted club.
And Chelsea. Good look if you go there.
I guess he has to weigh the chances of being the next Paul Heckingbottom ....Ipswich need 8 first team starters and depth if they want to survive in the prem. There's probably only 3 premier quality players in the team.

Been on some journey with them so it’s beyond me why he wouldn’t want to lead them out in the Prem.
Didn’t do Kompany any harm getting relegated did it.
Don’t see his stock dropping whatever happens to Ipswich. Free hit.

Looks like Maresca tops Chelsea’s list of manager/head coach options.

Official approach to Leicester made.

Don't think that, Mark Robins (10/1 on that list) really ever gets enough credit.

Had to deal with the circus ownership at Coventry, playing here there and everywhere, sharing with some Wasps (before their demise)....got the play-off final last year, FA Cup semi this year (when robbed by VAR) against ManUre and again on the fringes of the play-off places. Maybe because he doesn't really seem to play the media game there isn't the love in that there is with others.....but I think he deserves a crack at a bigger job than Coventry, with respect to the Sky Blues.

Good post.

Done a superb job.

2 promotions, a playoff place, FA Cup Semi.

To do all that with the circus he has had to deal with is exceptional.
