We looked like 11 strangers playing for the first 30 minutes. No closing down of any meaningful intent, they had so much space to gain confidence on the ball. I was astounded how easily they played around us. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse it somehow did.

Need to recover from this quickly.

I’m fairly resigned to staying in the Champs next season, we won’t go up playing like this and if we do, we will be taken apart by Prem teams, we won’t be able to afford the marquee players we need. Sadly. Just hope we can hang on to Rutter, Joseph and Firpo(!) and rebuild a solid side as well drilled as QPR were.

Not much really you can say.

Looked a poorly coached and badly set up team of strangers with no idea who is meant to be where.

Passive and negative out of possession, slow and static in possession.

Then some ineffective subs to top it off.

Re: DDB’s comment re: posters “coming alive” when we’re losing. I think a lot of it has to do with several of us naturally trying to find a solution to a clear problem…and given the thorough dismantling that we just suffered through, this only amplified that tendency.

Personally I’ve feared this for some time as it’s been trending in this direction for weeks. We’ve just been fortunate to have results go reasonably well. The dip in form has been apparent for a while (my eyes have shown this…and Cjay’s stats have backed this up). Rotation, earlier subs, etc. many of us on here have been trying to come up with ideas on what DF needs to be doing in order to get us back on track. Sadly, many of us were ridiculed for doing this (yes, trying to problem solve how we can get our dear Leeds unstuck) and how we are Farke haters, etc. and some are overly relying on stats, etc.

I've a feeling we may have something to play for v Southampton. Sky won't like a nothing to play for final day...

I said in January we'd pared back the squad too far. My guess is we have a few players carrying injuries, some illness recently and we've had injured players sitting on the bench, imo, but can't prove that

Squad management has been very poor

Good luck to him with that task.
Been a bit of a slide downwards since that dreaded international break. See it in sport sometimes. The indefinable thing that is form.
Oh god the BBC news just showed the 2nd goal from tonight as they announced Lester are promoted. Grim.

We've moved to coping measures already :)

Has this ever been the case?

We owe nearly £200mil in fees . . . .

Ipswich lose all 3 and we limp over the line!!!! Believe!!!
