That is nonsense!

James has played 36 times this season, 20 goal contributions

6 goals & 3 assists in 2024.

James is the 9th highest scorer in the championship, Dan has scored one goal less than strikers Jamie Vardy & Josh Sargent.

Good job I do my homework!

The Blackburn guy no doubt.

Armstrong at Southampton will be a contender for the 9
Meslier will be a contender for keeper based on the clean sheets.

The CB’s will be interesting -ours will definitely be in the mix.
Midfield will be KDH and ?

James played almost twice as many mins as gnonto this season, he could get it

but i think it will probably go to jack clarke

Likely will be Armstrong and Szmodics up front, summerville and clarke/james as wingers, dewsbury hall and someone else CM, leif davis lb, ampadu and/or rodon + someone else cb, someone rb, then a GK

22 starts, 14 as a substitute.

Still a lot of game-playing time.

Dan's shooting has improved under Farke. He tends to hit the ball across the keeper into the corner of the net, which is correct technique when shooting at the goal. Even his worldie against Hull was in the same spot.

Summerville often does the same from the left.

Not enough starts for me to be up for team of the season, as I say, same with Willy who's top class

Deserved.

Szmodics has more goals and has been brilliant for Blackburn.

KDH very good for Leicester.

But Summerville has been immense and if our players could score would probably have 15+ assists as well as the 18 goals.

Most chances created per 90 in the league.

He and Szmodics have the same goal or assist ratio, one every 130 minutes

KDH lags behind with 136.

Summerville's & Gray's value should rise after winning these awards.

Was very noticeable how unselfish he was setting up Piroe and Gnonto in positions where he would usually look to be trying to get a shot in usually.

Let's also not the forget that he told Gruev to take the shot from the fk and ran the decoy that pulled the two-man Norwich wall apart

It was he did very well.

And he very enthusiastically celebrated all the goals (not sure strangling JP was necessary).

Back to losing our best players to small teams

We should be demanding £40+million for Jimmy (we wont).

Brighton record transfer is £30mil for Joao Pedro from Watford last season.

Summerville had a far better Championship season than the one Pedro had.

11 goals and 4 assists in 2791 minutes so every 199 minutes.

19 goals and 9 assists in 3525 minutes so every 125 minutes.

Easily should add £10mil to the fee but Kinnear is still here and considered an "expert" so will probably loan him out.

Underwhelming

Maybe we can push up our price. Can't imagine Summerville putting as much pressure on Leeds for a move to Brighton compared to a more glamorous team.
