In one simple post what’s wrong with this country today, feeling you had to apologise for a comment which would have to be misread to be construed as sexist. People need to stop waking up every single day wondering how they’re going to be offended that day. Life is hard enough, smile & move on.

Nope, I was fine with it, I didn't feel I needed to I just did. I also don't wake up wondering how I might offend someone. I wake up and just use common sense and whatever little intelligence I have

He does not say ALL immigrants. Surely you agree that there are some that fit his description.

Whatever MC intended it is a very badly worded piece and left the strong impression of 'us' and 'them'
Not sure who the 'us' is supposed to be left doing all the cleaning up.
I do know there are a lot of immigrants working in the NHS, doing a lot of cleaning up.
What would the response be from an immigrant doctor ,nurse or any immigrant for that matter if you used those words to them.
"Thanks for the pills Dr Jahita, but now I got to go out and clear up all that mess those immigrants left behind"

Apologies and I take the quote back. What I was trying to highlight was the fact you apologised for something when you thought you hadn’t done anything wrong. Why ? If someone objects to your post have a conversation and if they change your mind then apologise, if not agree to disagree & move on.
