Is photography a hobby of yours? Given that you seem to have an appreciation for the beauty of the "ordinary," I'm guessing you'd have a good eye. My wife and I quite like taking pictures - nature photography in particular.

Not really, only the occasional snapshot. Sometimes the spirit of the place comes through in a picture, but more often not. The odd bits of poetry writing I've done are probably my best mementoes of 'seeing through the veil', but I wouldn't expect them to evoke that for anybody else.
