Midfield, he isn't even a midfielder, his best position is deep lying , just ahead of CH's, a position only one manager made for him because he was useless as a midfielder, I wouldn't put him ahead of Gray, Kmara or Gruev in midfield so who would you drop !!

For me it is a no brainer. If we could get him for no more than 25 mil I believe he would be a great signing. I do not subscribe to the suggestion that X is better because we haven’t seen them in the prem, which is a different level.

He is struggling currently because he has hardly played. Short memories for me when you consider how pivotal he was for us for at least the best part of three years.

The only concern I have surrounds his physical condition. If he is fit I would have him back in a heartbeat.

Depends - he has played decent in a double pivot for England before his injuries ( which is my biggest concern - his condition ) Farke has shown this season he can get the best out of players who were quickly dismissed as useless. KP’s experience and the fact he is a hometown lad should not be underestimated.

There is actually in Ampadu a player he might just marry to because he's also an excellent reader of the play, and Kamara might work against lesser teams that we could get him further up out of KP's way against.

You can't compare Championship v PL. We'd be relegated with most of those players.

Kamara is decent at this level - there is a reason he hasn’t had a prem career after leaving Arsenal. No idea how Gruev will fare. Amps is quality so I have no concerns about him, similarly I think Archie can take the next step. Our squad is relatively young and lacks Prem experience. We have 19 players out of contract in the summer if you include Roberts and Rodon.
25 million for KP is a no brainer for me. I do not subscribe to the suggestion he can only play in a 4141. It may be his best role but I am confident after a few more games at Spam he will start to get his mojo back if he is fit.

Pep did KP a disservice IMO. Why he let him languish on the sidelines is bizarre especially when Rodri was injured. He never got the mins to show what he can do. You only have to look at the lad he sold to Chelsea. (Name escapes me and I can’t be arsed to google) Pep has said he preferred two players ahead of him.
Let’s see how KP gets on when he gets some mins under his belt.

Phillips is class, again a lot of Leeds fans clueless about rust, new team, different set up. Again most think form is the B all and end all, probably the same posters that wrote off Cry/Geo/Firpo/Gruev/Bamford/Gnonto etc etc ....
