Very highly rated at one point with his Championship performance for Swansea in his early 20s earning him a high profile move to Tottenham.
Hasn't really worked out and he spent last season on loan at Rennes in Ligue 1 which didn't work out either with Rennes not activating their option to buy.

I wonder if this has come from Ethan - helping a mate out to get back to the English league system! With Koch, Llorente and Wober away and Cooper now injured he might be needed, and probably wouldn’t be out of place in the Championship, to be fair.
Nice to see a new face come in. Appears to be a solid player and for obviously a reasonable price. Things were starting to look grim there for a moment.

Not dependent on Google, the www or 'stats' - Just a guy that puts his eyes to full use on the beautiful game
Joe Rodon - Would this make it 3 out of 3 signings that look full of common sense and good potential ? Or does it look like a punt on a roulette wheel, stab in the dark, Monkey with a pin.

At this rate, I'll definitely be watching Wales in the international break.
Dan James and Tyler Roberts are Welsh Internationals too.
But better than signing , and gambling on, someone because they are from ( and failed at) Barcelona or Bayern Munich.
How quickly have we gone from building a team around the Ametican National Team to the Welsh one?
I remember O'Leary saying that he wanted to build a team mainly with players from these islands. It is certainly a less risky strategy, particularly in the Championship me thinks.
