The previous buys for Marsch have been his handpicked, Red Bull, ex players. Unclear what involvement, if any, Marsch has in the bid for Rutter. I'm reading it as the club (hopefully) now looking towards a post-Marsch future.

I really don't know where i am with him or the team, we're on a tightrope, it's like one or two games where we could be dire position.

How much time do we consider giving the incoming, do we look at the games coming up for him before whacking Jesse.

Atm i'm still with Jesse, but like i said it could change in an instant dependant on other results around us.

A win, any sort of win v Villa would up my spirits no end coz they're currently performing, i just wish i could see something in our performance that's encouraging for the next 5.

I think it is the board throwing money at new players rather than admitting they made a huge mistake. They are hoping that by buying players it will be enough to keep us up whereas the sensible decision would be to use the money on a better manager but that would be a huge admission that they got it wrong.

I'm a fan of the board, done a f**king great job getting us here and keeping us up so far, even if they were incredibly inexperienced and needed a wing and a prayer. Getting in Bielsa buys them a s**t load of good will from me.

It is a concern. Many on here seemed to be full of praise for the current manager for us only losing 3-1 to City. However they have been very wobbly of late, the loss to Brentford, a draw with Everton, this loss to Southampton..

I said recently that the concern I had was that of the 6 sides underneath us that West Ham should have enough quality to climb above us and that Wolves have been playing better since they got their new manager in and should move away from the relgation zone. That leaves Forest, Everton, Bournemouth and Southampton as the only other teams below us. If Everton sack Lampard and get a decent manager in they will likely escape, heck they managed it last season under Lampard when they looked doomed. Forest may well improve as all their players gel. The hope was that Bournemouth and Southampton had seriously erred with their new manager appointments. If Southampton start to pick up form we could be well and truly screwed.

Tbh, I've become bored reading the Marsch/Bielsa content let alone posting, we are constantly going round in circles.

Unfortunately as a mod, the requirement is to read all the posts, stepping down maybe the answer for my own peace & sanity.
