Salah's 13th goal of the season after his brace yesterday, PL = 6 goals, CL = 7 goals.

Easily outscoring the £100m plus spent on Diaz & Nunez.

But for a club like us with no where near there turnover it isn't sustainable and would take literally decades to get to a place whereby we are anything more than relegation scrappers.

The rebuilds are funded by debt incidentally, debt the club have to pay back.

Again something totally unfeasible for us.

I know you like the whole idea of that sort of ownership but it isn't comparable to Liverpool.

Not sure how Dubai would work given there close ties to Abu Dhabi and the UAE.

Kuwait maybe ?
It just proves once and for all that the PL is completely unsustainable. Even a club like Liverpool, with their huge commercial income, can no longer compete at the top. Same too for scum. Another state run club and that's it for the league. Give it ten years and over half will be sportswashing vehicles, including probably us sadly..

Dubai International Capital.

The investment arm of the Sovereign wealth fund of Dubai is plotting a takeover of Liverpool.

They have previously tried multiple times and there founder and Chairman is a well publicised Liverpool fan.

The Sovereign wealth fund of Dubai has hundreds of billions worth of investment world wide and its principle shareholder has a net worth of over £10billion

Reports suggesting that a new interested party has entered the race to buy Liverpool

Indian Businessman Mukesh Ambani has apparently expressed interest.

He is the 8th richest man in the world.

A net worth of £70billion which is more than Chelsea, Man City, Wolves, Villa, Fulham, Tottenham, Arsenal, Palace and Leicester ownerships (all billionaire) combined.

Has Mukesh Ambani ever heard of Leeds? It's a lovely place with a great football team.

Hadn't realised but just seen that one of the other serious contenders is Steve Ballmer.

An American Businessman.

Net worth £68billion :(

Why aren't we attractive to these type of people . . Know Liverpool are a long way ahead in terms of turnover and stuff.

But you could buy us for £600mil.

That is £3billion less than Liverpool.

You could grow us massively with just 1 of those billion, save yourself £2bill.

Never heard of Steve Ballmer.

Was school mates with Bill Gates apparently and got involved at Microsoft very early on.

Most of his cash comes from shares in that apparently.

I'd heard of Mukesh Ambani but only because he popped up once on some crazy things rich people own TV show and it was his house which was worth a bomb.

No idea how he got so rich but seem to remember his Dad wasn't exactly skint.

Probably helped?

Numerous reports that Liverpool are on the brink of a massive Qatar backed takeover.

Funny how there fans have spent years complaining about Man City but unsurprisingly they welcome this with open arms . . . .

Our fans would have been no different.

Shame it isn't us
