What a travesty. I really fail to see what impact Gough and Gibson have had. A sad day for YCCC.

Surely Yorkshire are gonna struggle without all their England players :duno: How many? Is it 5 or 6...

But still, the recruitment and lack of investment has been piss poor.

Root, Bairstow, Brook, Malan, Rashid & Willey.

ECB refuse to allow us to have our players back unlike they do with other county clubs

What is more annoying Root was playing in a Scottish golf tournament whilst Yorks were struggling against Gloucestershire.

It's a frigging joke & a totally unlevel playing field, Swannie.

These circumstances wouldn't happen in any other sport

My love for cricket is fading.

It always the same with Yorkshire football/rugby/cricket clubs, as they are all tight-arse owners who are more interested any financial gains ending up in their pockets rather than investing into their clubs.

It's the Yorkshire mentality.

What's the reason given for allowing other clubs to have their England players back but not Yorkshire players?

YCCC fans forum unhappy with Joe Root playing golf in Scotland.

I wonder how our captain feels now, probably doesn't give a :poo:

Complete bollocks. International cricket for the past week and immediate future has all been about the 20's. Completely senseless that Joe Root hasn't been made available.

Yorkshire's new overseas signing Shan Masood (Pakistan) will take over as captain in all formats for 2023.

Matt Milnes (Kent) & Ben Mike (Leicestershire) Join Yorkshire next season.

These players moved on to their new clubs Matthew Waite (Worcestershire), David Willey (Northamptonshire), Tom Kohler-Cadmore (Somerset)

Sadly Steve Patterson has been released.....good luck Patto, a star trouper imo!

No doubt the likes of Root the amateur golfer, Bairstow, Brook & Rashid will play minimum cricket for Yorkshire.

What was the reasoning on Kohler Cadmore. Seems top prospect and one of the few constants in our starting XI

Patto has retired. Had offers from Division 1 but says had to listen to body and heart. Doesn't have energy or the passion to play for any other club.

489 first class wickets.

Glad to see the back of him personally. Terrible last year opening the batting and only marginally better this year. A 20/20 merchant who was never consistent as a CC batsman for us. Felt the stick he got when walking off yesterday after getting out playing one of his 20/20 shots was deserved. Yes he had the odd game this year where he showed he could build an innings but that just makes it all the more frustrating really when you see him smashing and slogging it when his only remit was to stay at the crease and build some runs. Perhaps he can be coached better in the future to be a successful CC player but that was never going to happen here, especially now with this shambolic set-up.

Many of the YCCC forum members glad to see the back of Kohler-Cadmore.

A shambles of a season, Wilsden. :(
