Think with Geo he runs a fine line because he always wants to receive the ball on the half turn deep then run or pass through usually to Summerville.

Today Plymouth did a good job on him largely by getting really tight.

Rutters pass accuracy was 52% which is dreadful but he got the assist and goal.

And after good work from Piroe first half he nearly scored again.

Hard game to mark imo.

I nearly fell off my settee.
Saw that. I gave him honorable mention in MOTM thread (still 7th or 8th place)

Georginio went from villain to hero.

SKY having a laugh, giving the man of the match to Rutter.

Gnonto was our best forward.

Summerville had a stinker.

Agree with you there, hence my comment 'from villain to hero'

Am staggered that Plymouth's xg is nearly at 1, can't recall any decent chance. For ours in comparison to be just over 1 is staggering and paints it as a close game for those who rely on stats rather than their eyes, or didn't watch the game.
Me too. Hitting the bar twice and a couple close offsides calls had to give us more. While they had maybe one good chance…

The keeper gets very little protection - you only have to look at the number of players looking to target the keeper in the set piece. He has been solid for the most part on the high ball this season - people who claimed he was average cannot bring themselves to give him the recognition his displays have deserved.

Reminds me of the newspapers back in the day, giving Strachan motm every week, even if he was nowhere near motm.

Hitting the woodwork doesn’t count as shots on target, that’s maybe why (it’s a bugbear for me - I think if the ball hits the woodwork and goes in or comes back into play, it’s a shot on target.
If it doesn’t come back into play it’s off target imo)

Agree, but definitely a nuance between watching the game and watching the xG stats.

Paddy has been great since coming back this year. Very sorry to see him go down. We will miss him.
You'd better believe it Jil, best to ignore the noise from the sidelines from those that know nowt.

Oh dear dear me, Specsavers or what ?

Willys first touch to try and bring it under control was completely fluffed, now then, here's where the luck starts - It then falls kindly for his 2nd touch, which is excellent, whilst the shot is then scuffed and luckily ends up in the back of the net.

Oooops sorry, it might be a different opinion  .....Wrong, but a different opinion.

I’m not so sure. I think 100+ is needed this season.

Hope you’re right though.
