Slaven Bilic Gets the Hoof/Sam's the man

Post by Cjay »

Love Slaven :)

Very few respectful managers left.

Moaning, whinging, excuse making bunch most of them.

But I hope Bilic gets WBA up (with us).

Good manager, built a good side, play some nice football WBA, some classy players.

But most of all the amount of respect Bilic has for MB is awesome

All those managers who fell over themselves to tell everyone they do analysis to . . . . .

Pfft.

Listen to Slaven
And then see the big hug Bilic went for, everyone wants a Bielsa hug :)
Signed

Good post Cjay

Always liked Slaven when he managed West Ham, my guilty secret Prem team well until next season anyway

He’s a manager with class and shows lots of respect to all opposition, he also accepts the fault when things go wrong.

Talking with my mates last night we were all happy to go up with the Baggies and a lot of that was down to Slaven

Ya, top quality coach, seems like a sound guy too, wouldn’t mind see them finish second behind us

Always loved him, had hoped he would end up at Elland Road one day.

Really like him too, he's a man who clearly and passionately adores English football and this country. He's dignified and knows when to be humble, and is another of Bielsa's fans, wouldn't surprise me if he stuck up for Marcelo during the whole spygate non-saga. The premier league will be enriched if we both go up, will balance out all the Steve Bruces and Solkjaers

We can bever tell who will be our manager next if it's not Corberan.

I really liked him at West Ham and he seemed to do well for them, and then I guess circumstances changed and he didn't do so well.

It is a funny old game, many Leeds fans would jump at the chance of Bilic here one day, including myself, yet baggies fans, who appreciate where he's got them, criticise his selections, substitutions and lack of plan B at times, just as Leeds fans do with Bielsa, who in turn, Albion fans hold in high regard for the squad he has, his tactics and how he seems to get things right.

Great to see a respectful and graceful team competing with us, makes a change from the classless Norwich, Blunts and Villa from last year. Hope the top two remains as it us.

First Sacking of the Season

Post by Irish Ian »

Not Arteta
Nor Dyche
Or OGS

But poor old Slavan... I hate West Brom even more now.

Funny time to sack him after a very hard earned point at Man City last night.
If Arsenal lose to high flying Southampton tonight then I feel Arteta will be the 2nd

I thought Arteta would have been first with Wilder shortly behind him, feel Bilic has been shafted

A strange decision by WBA.
Team morale must be high after the draw away at City.
They just need 3pts to get out of the drop zone, with good fixtures coming up over the next month.

If I remember right, Bilic has been favourite to lose his job first since the start of the season.

Not sure why... always thought he was too good for the Baggies

Absolute ridiculous decision,

Chris Hughton next WBA manager

Thats my bet

Potter and wilder will also be sacked before xmas.
Eddie Howe will take the Brighton job

My West Brom mate just text me to say, he'd much rather have battled on with Bilic than have Big Sam as manager.

Totally agree , said elsewhere before I'd heard this , the board failed to back him . They played decent football under him as opposed to the full stuff under Pulis then Pardew . Got them out of championship , but then there's no loyalty in football anyway . Didn't get a fair crack IMO , I'll see what friends in Brum think on this one as I have WBA friends , being a native Brummie myself .
