It means very lucky, without putting any apparent effort in. “You've won the lottery? You jammy git!” Collins have traced this back to 1854 and it may be from a French phrase of the time, “jamais de guerre” which is an idiom for being peaceful and prosperous.

Just googled that so don’t know if the origin is correct.
In my experience it describes Muppet the Cats racing success very well :roflmao:
