Starter for ten passes away

Former University Challenge presenter and author Bamber Gascoigne has died at the age of 87.

Gascoigne was the original presenter of the TV quiz show from 1962 to 1987. He also presented TV documentaries and wrote several books.

Rowan Godel has passed on. She had the most beautiful voice.

I was fortunate to see her during my trip to England two years ago. Magnificent.

BBC News reporting that Aussie cricket legend has died of a heart attack, aged 52.

A great character and one of the greatest, if not the greatest, spin bowler of all time.

A real shock starting to emerge.

Australian cricket legend Shane Warne has died of a suspected heart attack.

Just 12 hours ago Shane expressed his sadness on twitter regarding the death of fellow Aussie cricketer Rod Marsh.

RIP both.
