I like the idea of Darlow putting his shirt in the cupboard. I think when you’re winning a game easily players can gradually start putting their shirts in the cupboard. So with Ipswich maybe 6 shirts in the cupboard before 90 minutes but with Preston & WBA no shirts in the cupboard at all. Well maybe Darlow could iron his shirt ready for the cupboard.

Pity you didn't bring Darlow out of the cupboard at the same time

Oh give it a break. He's not going anywhere. Let's not have a manager walk the plank again like we made Bielsa.

Scott Parker, Steve Cooper, they haven't the experience to think outside the box.

But whenever a manager starts mentioning meaningless possession that your opponent is allowing you to have you know he's looking for excuses.

Also isn't "looking to create chaos" chucking everyone on and hoping for the best :duno:

I'd agree on that one, haven't they given him a 4 year contract anyway? I am not sure that the 49ers will back him in Jan, considering automatic promotion is pretty much a pipe dream now. The play offs are a lottery, and we usually bottle it in them. It may be a case of seeing how this seasons pans with the players we have.

A totally honest assessment of where we're at, no excuses there at all.

He needs some backing.

What happens when both teams perform a 'low block'

Just a thought.

Give it a rest please

21 games to go , 9 points behind Ipswich (Who are starting to falter), 6 behind Saints

Better goal difference than both.

So automatics not out of reach with a decent run of games.

Pre and post press conferences are all about cliche’s. I am not sure what revelatory words Farke could say that would somehow ease the discomfort losing a football match brings.

Two games lost in succession where the performances have been below par is nothing new for any club. Consistency is always the determining factor between success and failure in any sport.

This is what we lack and the reasons why we are not consistent is the debatable issue. An issue which is subjective based upon personal expectations.

We had people round last night so I only caught glimpses of the game. Another 1-0 loss - if we had been spanked I would be more concerned. I predicted 5th so for me we are still on course to match my seasons expectation's.

As far as i'm concerned we had the best attacking genius of the modern game, but they wanted clean sheets with shite players, and they wanted rid of him.

They got a man that tried a 'whatever it was' mad rush playground style, but they wanted rid of him.
Leeds tried some futsal whatever that is - But he was no use to them, get rid, they want goals but clean sheets.
A Spaniard came to conquer and play some brash attacking/so called defensive stuff all too soon, in fact way way way too soon for what players he had - get rid, they wished.

Enter the big defensive man, give them their clean sheets (what with our defenders!) - Leeds fans " GET RID, GET RID, GET RID!

So they want - Clean sheets
They want - Goals
They want - Attacking fluent football and amazing players, defenders, midfielders, attackers and brilliant subs

They want, they want, they want - And they want it yesterday.

So our second half formation was 3-5-2. Ahh, that’s put me right, I thought it was 3-0-7.
Please don't ever make the mistake of taking me seriously.

A manager using possession stats which the opposition are allowing you to have because as we all know its part of the way to beat us shows he is floundering for excuses, managers always quote possession when they are struggling.

And create chaos? That is a quote straight out of the Jesse Marsch school of drivel.

Basically an admission his subs have no tactical plan , just a hope sheer quality and numbers do enough.

It's quite the admission imo, as suspected he is totally flummoxed and resorts to chucking everyone on.

The Problems.
No 10 , We don't have one.
Left back Not settled.

Striker,
Yes I know you are all going to tell me how good Rutter is, How he leads the line. BUT strikers score goals, Harry Kane is a striker. In 3 games he has scored more goals than our striker has all season. 63% possession hardly a shot on target. there in lies the problem.
I know all you Doom Sayers will say
who else can we use as a striker,
It doesn't matter nobody including the tea lady can do worse.
I feel sorry for the people who clean the toilets at Elland road because Rutter's inability to aim inside a white structure is gonna make their life a lot worse.
This is mid table stuff at best. At the moment we travel like a 10 quid submarine. Dire Dire Dire.

All this talk about poor Farke and his lack of options.

Managers in the league don't agree.

"Without any type of doubt, Leeds is one of the best squads in the Championship," Corberan.

Seems the other managers in this league don't think Farke is struggling for options.

Its the truth

Look at some of our past squads, even look at Burnley last season.

This is one of the strongest squads in Championship history.

Plenty of managers have said the same as Corberan.

Whatever our fans think the perception from the opposition doesn't match that.
