Rodders has saved our season so far.
If he gets injured or loses form we are in serious trouble.
We have to have another credible option.
Rutter could be viewed as the insurance policy in this context.

The leaky bucket at the back will give us sleepless nights though for the rest of the season.

Fee between £25-35mil.

Lad seems keen which is nice

Lot for potential.

But he is different to what we have

Sort if player fans will love, skills and dribbles.

Be nice to have him available for Villa.

Won't be ready for Villa if we sign Rutter this week.

Villa is Friday.

Medical Wednesday.

No reason he can't be on the bench for Villa.

If it was Man City or a game we expect to struggle I'd wait.

But we need to be winning vs teams like Villa.

Potential counts for nowt, if it's not actualised. It could be a masterstroke, or a lot of money for potential.

If goes to plan no reason he can't be in the squad for Villa.

The thought of Rutter running at Mings

Georginio Rutter

🤣 Hi everyone. I’ve just looked on Wikipedia for further information on our prospective new signing Georginio Rutter. It bodes well. According to Wikipedia he is 20 years old and was born in Paris. More interestingly however is his height…… they have him down at 2.54m tall, which in old school terms means he’s effectively 8ft 4 inches tall. WOW !! Imagine him on corners/free kicks or even the long ball over the top. See attachment 🤣🤣 marching on giant strides together

Once a target is confirmed by good sources I always make them a thread

Keeps it away from the gossip of the Transfer thread

And then if they sign this becomes the players own thread.

All our squad have one and most started like this. :)

They've conveniently missed out the fact he weighs 34 stone and has an impressive limp (due to one leg being 6 inches longer than the other) .
I expect that will be found out at the medical, hopefully

We weren't far off when we signed Aaronsen - £25m for a 21 year old.

You forget how young Aaronson is, we need to give him time and I'm sure he will come good
