Well if Mike Dean wants to be the star of the show then I expect there will be a few penalties. Luke will have to start practicing the Ayling flop now.

Interesting mix. The City lot seem to be level heads for the most part, surprised at the bit of pessimism there but sensible assessments for the most part. And of course the obligatory antagonistic to**er to round them off.

More surprised at the questions asked of Berge in the latter forum, honestly. A few seeming to say that call for a foul in the run-up to our goal is just excuses and that he should've done more. I would've been more annoyed with Lundstrum in their position but there you go.

All sites have someone who will turn against the team /manager in an instant ... but citeh seem to have an extraordinary amount of vile (so called) supporters who turn on the team and manager for any reason ...

Two years ago they were slagging LUFC off & full of praise for Citeh, they are far from sh*t as many of the blue mooners now imply on the first few pages of that thread, they are still a top team who will make a major contribution in the PL this season. Citeh fans expected to come to ER & turn us over with ease, our performance must have really hurt their so called support.

Rodrigo should be playing in this and he’s been good so far. Him and Phillips have been huge misses in the last two weeks for Leeds.

The likes of Strujik and Shackleton look a way off the level of their replacements. Also Raphina is supposedly playing as well.

Leicester shredded them on the counter a couple of weeks back so think we can definitely get after them.

This fixture brings back memories. When I first started to follow football. Leeds was one of the few English clubs that played really good football at the time (compared to the rest of the league). However Arsenal was just magnificent and I couldn’t support another team after watching them play.

Leeds used to have good players like Radebe, Kewell, Smith and Hasselbank. Glad they are back to the PL. That being said they cost us a couple titles to Man U but in retrospect they just played and left everything on the field and you just have to respect that.

I am honestly not sure what to expect from this game from us. We know that Leeds will press and pass the ball around. They move the ball quickly and the whole team works hard in transition in both directions. I am a little concerned but I am also certain that Leeds have a intensity issue. They play at such a high tempo eventually they start to lose concentration and make small mistakes which leads to them conceding goals. So if we are focused we can make them pay.

That being said I have little confidence in this defense to keep a clean sheet.

I hope I'm proven wrong but this has all the makings of a match I have to turn off at the half to protect the tv. It has all the ingredients for a drubbing. We're awful following international breaks, Bielsa is a genius, Leeds play exactly the kind of incisive football that can break down teams that sit deep like we do(I'm fighting the urge to vomit as I describe us this way) down. I'd be happy with a point to be perfectly honest. Instead I kind of expect the knives to be fully out for Arteta by the time the final whistle blows.

Imagine getting outclassed technically by teams who were recently in the Championship, two weeks in a row.

Brace yourselves because it’s gonna happen. If we do win it won’t be from outplaying or out passing them, Leeds boast some of the best stats in that regard in the league. The only way we win this is by another ****house. I don’t know when we are gonna try and make the transition towards becoming an attacking team but when we do we will probably drop points in the process, so it’s catch 22 right now for Arteta.
