A Tribe Called Quest - "People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm"

Along with De La Soul and Public Enemy, TCQ heralded the Golden Age of Hip Hop. NME said the album wasn't rap, it was perfection.

Great album .. I think 3 foot high and rising trumps it but one of the great rap albums

Thanks Leon

I love Mike Scott

I was lucky enough to see them on the tour promoting Room To Roam at the Sands Centre in Carlisle.

One of the best gigs I've been to, absolutely thrilled to have seen Mike Scott in the flesh.

Met Mike Scott when he was busking in an Irish town back in the 80s. My sister blew his cover when she screamed "IT'S MIKE SCOTT OF THE WATERBOYS". Afaik he lived in Galway at the time and would have been part of the bohemian/folk/trad community turning up at random festivals and just busking away with Thistlethwaite, Wickham and co.
