I am! :x

I'll have you know that Belle Vue is being re-developed right now as we speak. New floodlights up, new East stand framework up, it'll be grand when its finished. And, the most important thing for me, the Club is remaining at it's original home in Belle Vue, very important for one of the founder members of Rugby League :)

Ps. you are right though, it was a shambles.....but my shambles :roflmao:

Loved going to the old Central Park, bloody good pies. Don’t like the DW or whatever it’s called. Got a thing for old grounds, apart from Bellevue which is a shambles, eh Swannie if you’re reading this.
Just my local side that's all, never been, yeah the old Central Park was a cracker, once had 30 odd thousand on to watch the world club v Manly back in the 80's, i drove past and there was over 1000 on a bridge overlooking the ground.

Prefer Union myself, but will watch a good League game like St Helens V Wigan at Easter.

I’ll watch the six nations, but I struggle with the rules sometimes with union. Always get the feeling the referee can’t wait to give a penalty for one reason or another.

That said, league is going down the same route.

I think Union rules are pretty simple until you come to the scrum. That is mind blowingly complex in the sense no one knows who the hell is cheating

If we were watching together I’d easily explain rucks & mauls to you. In the scrum it’s just impossible to tell who’s offending, bringing it down etc. it can get a bit tedious tbh with all the resetting. Don’t have that problem in League do you

Same, I only watch the big games like 6 nations, Autumn int etc, I don't fully understand all the rules as i never played either, but enough to enjoy a game, same with League.

Not really, but the rules are a little more strict than they used to be.

I’ll give the 6 nations more of a go this year (unless I’m at Elland Road, of course), and try to understand a little bit better.
