As for food banks, the volunteers who run them, and folk who donate to them do a fantastic job.

Not just handing out food, but mental health counselling for some of the users too.

I could not agree more... my point is , it is due to governments NOT doing what they are elected for why we have food banks etc... in this modern world it is embarressing in developed countries to rely on such things...All governments should hang there heads in shame

Of course.

Government spends its money on vanity projects like HS2 or Trident... councils spend it on woke crap like city of culture projects.

Give a food bank £50 and/or a few hours of your time... you might stop someone chucking themselves off a motorway bridge.

Many people of that mindset were fine until we were forced to live like North Koreans for the last year.

The lockdown fanatics don’t realise what damage their project is doing.

Cancel HS2...reduce defence spending by 2%...Housing crisis, homelessness and poverty eredicated ...not that simple...but achievable and should be the desired goal
