Main points - VCs come in small and offer assistance, not always financial, to encourage long term growth.
- VCs rarely, if ever, take a controlling share in the company.
- VCs are in the business of making money for their investors by increasing the value of their investment. They do this by buying cheap and selling expensive.

My friends, if we are to rely on the 49ers we are fuffed. Their client is Radrizzani, not Leeds United.
Pretty much the way I see things as well, don't really think we have any alternatives though, no sugar daddy for us, 49ers are supposed to make us more profitable by increasing our worldwide awareness / brand, then apparently the infrastructure of the ground etc, won't happen as far as I'm concerned.

Yep basically what I've been saying for ages.

Anyone thinking they are some benevolent benefactor is deluded

They are no better than Radz.

I'll take that .

If they can improve the clubs standings as well as he has them it's exciting times ahead

They all better be thinking carefully. If we go down there will be no value for anybody.

They've been part of the current stagnation and not lifted a finger.

Unless it is some super consortium like Chelsea have then I can't see much changing.

One mans stagnation is another man's consolidation.

Because things havent gone they way you think it means nothing.

I don't think we're stagnating, only the impatient would think that, the kings of stagnation is/was Everton, ...

16 years outside the league folks and not one billionaire willing to finance Leeds irrespective of cost has made an approach. Trust me if someone came along slapped enough money down, Rads/Cellino, even Bates would have bitten their hands off.

We're an attractive one team city, lots of room to take the club to the next level so we seem to be the perfect team to buy. Wonder what the problem is... Until we get that investment we have to cut our cloth accordingly. Some teams are destined to be poor. Us, Oakland A's and the Raiders ... I support three of them

Radz hasn't been at ER of late ----- Is he elsewhere looking to sell the club or has he just lost interest watching Leeds.

He was there against Man City but not against West Ham.

That last story that came out spoke spoke about him buying other clubs. My guess would be his time is spread thin.

He clearly wants out.

It wouldn't surprise me if he was trying to flush out wealthy bidders

Wouldn't surprise me either if the 49ers were more than receptive.

After all a nice juicy profit is all they want

Wouldn't it be nice to not be be poor club for a change :)

Knowing our luck it's GFH . . . . . .

Other than supporting the club he owns, I'd say no. Much like players, staff, coaches can go anywhere today.

I've no complaints about Radz as an owner. He's brought us a long way. He just doesn't have the funds to take us further. I wish this takeover would happen sooner so we can take the next step forward. When Radz moves on, I'll wish him all the best and thank him for all he's done. Similar to thanking Klich yesterday. Gave everything he had. Then reached an end where he didn't have more to give.

Totally agree with this. Best for all concerned now that he moves on.

It'll probably be a Middle East consortium fronted by Ken Bates and a few expat mates.

Another theory is its Radz leaking nonsense to a friendly Journalist because the 49ers are getting cold feet

Not a ludicrous suggestion because he did it before with QSI.

Just want rich owners and trophies and to keep our best players to build not to flog them :(

Seems realistic that Radrizanni would still be fishing around for another potential owner.

The 49ers consortium keeping us in limbo is somewhat infuriating right now. The squad needs investment. How can we make serious investment if we don't know how the ownership will change. Latest I'm hearing is that 49ers will complete full takeover if we avoid relegation. That's unacceptable. We need action now. The 49er group should pay up or f/o and let someone else take the reins.

He disappeared before the end of the game though.
