He sounds a interesting buy. The Spanish lads already here should help him settle in. From what i have read he sounds a bit like all action Ayling. Another piece of the jigsaw.

I really hope I'm wrong but is Firpo an upgrade on Alioski?

God forbid he reminds of Bessone :shock:

I know its too early to judge but his positional sense was atrocious today, was skinned far too easily several times by the scousers.

We are missing the effervescence of Alio for sure. Don't even think he was a worse defender than JF either.

Too soon to tell I think, he was marking Saleh today after all. I don’t think Alioski would have done any better to be honest.

Far to early to be overly critical but put it this way, Ali wouldn't have done any worse and based on history maybe he would have popped up with a goal or assist already.

Not impressed at all so far. His positional sense is terrible and today looked knackered after 30 mins.
I know he's just getting over Covid but to be honest I have not seen anything in him so far to suggest he is an upgrade on Alioski.

Noticeable how so many new signings are settling in well at other PL clubs.
