They are probably still trying to work out why they like to watch future pritt sticks trotting round a field......

and then trying to work out the odds on whether they buy the said pritt stick later, after all they have paid for it 10 times over with the bets they lost....

Not got 10 tbf very few sports I enjoy nowadays, use to play and watch many. Even football is less appealing these days, don't watch anything other than Leeds.

Some Rugby League
Darts
Some golf
Some horse racing
Football sometimes when England are playing

Racing fan? I know absolutely nothing about racing. The only race in Oz that I have any interest in is the Melbourne Cup. I enter the racing tipping comps because I don't follow it or pretend to know anything about it. I don't enter football tipping comps because I care about how results affect Leeds, and hate to tip in a comp where I have a self-interest.

I enjoy watching a number of sports but I don't have any particular favourite sport, other than football. It depends on who is playing or competing rather than the sport. For example I'd rather watch NRL rugby league than the equivalent rugby union comp, but I'd rather watch international rugby union than international rugby league. I watch parts of Le Tour but no other race. I watch athletics and swimming and other events at the Olympics, but wouldn't watch those sports otherwise.

Although I do love watching the ponies run, at least in person. Saratoga in the summer is a trip every horse racing fan should make at least once in his/her lifetime. Churchill Downs is pretty special, too.

I used to live in Louisville. Made a point to avoid Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby.

Absolutely. I never go on Derby day for the same reason I don't go to bars on New Year's Eve. Too many people and the large majority of them don't care at all about the races; they're just there to be seen.
