Really enjoying new MGMT album. They're known for their electro dance Kids and Time to Pretend. But they're a bit more psychedelic in general.

New album a lot more psychedelic, summer of love to it. Very Bowie in parts.

Favourite track:

Usually Oracular is the one people like given its 2 catchy hits - Kids and Time To Pretend

It also seems like the two forementioned were bigger hits in UK than they were here. Probably because UK takes singles chart more seriously than US does

New album has more guitar, more hippy like songs.

The Zappa Remix would be very interesting for me. Rally rate Dweezil...89 quid for the 4 CDS and vinyl in the gatefold sleeve....

The connection to Frank is obvious anyway via smoke

There is a video unboxing with DZ, and soundbites from the album, Smoke is on the streaming platforms and it sounds tons better.

My Mrs once worked at Dweezil Zapper's play centres for kids, they were based inside certain UK ASDA supermarkets so parents could leave their kids there while they did the shopping.

It went bust.

The Jeff Parker is a great album, we're both Tortoise fans so we were both on that very early. Max Brown is/was Jeff Parkers mum

For all you Tortoise fans as Jeff is the guitarist there
