I suspect they will need to get approval from the EFL first on every intended key use.mentalcase wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2024 3:18 pm Good link that thanks
The yellow shirt is getting some interest, at first I was sceptical because of the badge, can you have a different club badge on for the away shirt !!
No doubt the FL will find a loophole to either fine us, or deduct us points.

All the noises are it sounds like that could be the case. We certainly need him. Like Struijk he can also cover LB if Junior breaks down again. I think we will see the 3-4-3 3-5-2 hopefully more this season. Farke needs to be more flexible like his mate did at Southampton last season to keep teams guessing. I am sure Farke would say we didn't have the personnel last season and he may have a point.marie67 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2024 9:42 am If Wober is going to stay for the season? it will to interesting to see where he fits into the team?
If we play 4 at the back it looks like Rodon and either Struijk or Wober. Or potentially one of them at left back.
Or more unlikely a change of formation from last season with 3 centre backs and Bogle and Firpo as wing backs.

Really hoping so. Wober opens up so many more options. We'll have4 quality CB's, knowing that Ampadu can move back and cover. Both Wober and Strujik have played LB. Might not be ideal for Farke's formation. But they would be strong cover. Byram covers both right and left. I would like to see another back up at RB - last season we had Archie at RB and Byram, Roberts, Shackleton were all decent back ups. But, as it looks right now, our squad looks stronger than just one additional player with Wober in it.Leeds1000 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2024 3:28 pm All the noises are it sounds like that could be the case. Agreed AJ. I think its a big upgrade on Coops at this stage of Liam's career. I know he's paid by the club and jumped at the chance to leave us last season but if he does stick around.... then credit to Farke and the club for convincing him of the future.andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2024 5:18 pm Really hoping so. And it's all about promotion right now. Sometimes we have to let bygones be. That if he's fully invested. If he had doubts, I'd let him go. But if he wants to make it happen with us this season, happy to have him here.

Farke must have sold him the ambition and that's good enough for me. Football is a fickle world, you are either winning or some miserable state in between. Another International player in the Championship....Why not?andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2024 5:37 pm And it's all about promotion right now. Sometimes we have to let bygones be. I like the shirt but the Smiley badge has been updated, it’s too circular rather than the rounded diamond of the original and all I see is CU rather than LU
It reminds me of Pac-Man too.

It always reminded me of pac-man. But you're right. It does look like a C now. And once seen!

Football is 90% mental, the other half is physical.

it is like they showed a 5 year old the badge and then asked them to draw it. The L is completely wrong and the u is just horrific.

Fortunately it will be seen from a distance most of the time.
PS, that one is far better.
