"Blackpool’s Keith Southern is ready to quit Ian Holloway’s club at the end of the season to sign for Leeds.

Midfield dynamo Southern was close to joining Simon Grayson’s outfit earlier in the campaign after growing restless at his lack of action for the Seasiders.

But now Southern, whose contract is running out, will make the break and go to Elland Road once the campaign is over.

Southern has been put back in the side by Holloway as he goes back to the players who won the club promotion, but Leeds will offer him a regular game and that should swing the day.

Blackpool have an option on Southern in the summer, but Leeds will pay the fee to take him if the Seasiders take it up - and Grayson has a vacancy as contract rebel Bradley Johnson seems set to move on."
