So they fucked up

We don't have to

It's clearly a cover of Metallica's second worst song

Bailey did it better

Don’t know about that......most of the tracks on St. Anger I’d consider worse.

Off Load which apart from that is close to the perfect metal album...St Anger's song writing is actually fine as is most of the playing...It's that snare drum that ruins it and that's down to production. When I first heard St Anger I thought it was excellent then I started to notice that drum more and more. Now that's all I can hear and it's unplayable

I doubt there's ever been an album that was ruined by a single instrument before or since...unless it's Morrisey's voice

Tried to mix one or two modern acts/soul artists with singer-songwriters on each of the three days.

Those highlighted are my headline acts

I saw Van the Man live in Manchester in the early 80's, he never moved off his stool all evening however what a wonderful concert it was, his band was as tight as a nuns .....

A more modern selection or artists, majority of those acts you've seen live I guess

Fleet Foxes & Counting Crows were considerations for me

Others I enjoy:

Beirut
Big Thief
Sharon Van Etten
Blueneck
Nina Simone
Kate Bush
Barr Brothers
Courtney Barnett
Bat For Lashes
Mark Lanegan
