Wondered why Andy Carroll was trending.

People comparing Nunez to Andy :)

Pretty poor miss that and tbh given Nunez has only shone in 2 weak leagues (Spanish 2nd division and Portugal).

£100mil seems very steep.

Isn't a kid either 23 now.

So based on 64's theory of bad pre season equals bad season. Liverpool finishing out of the top 4 next season?

I think we bucked the trend last season, Leon called it right, but I don't agree that there's necessarily a correlation between the two. I think it maybe offers some confidence if teams have a good pre-season, new players look like they're bedding in etc, but it is really about fitness, formations, assessment of fringe players and all that. Liverpool played their second string and kids for at least the first half yesterday, scum didn't. You can draw nothing from that.

Not at all, but in yesterday's case, Klopp gave the majority of his players 30 minutes each, with seven of his first team on for the last 30 minutes when Manure were already 3-0 up. Klopp used that match purely as a fitness exercise whereas ten Hag went for the result, probably a confidence thing after they got battered twice by Liverpool last season.

Those of us who watched all of LUFC's last season's pre-season could see the problems early doors, turned out I was correct in my assessment.

Our Australian tour & the Cagliari games will be telling, great start vs Blackpool much improved too. Let's hope the good performances continue, we look fit.

Liverpool thrashing RB Leipzig 0-4.

Their £64m signing Nunez has scored a hat trick.

Watching on Scouser TV.

That central midfield is now so dependent on Thiago, and he can blow hot or cold, and is possibly out injured now. Amazed they didn’t strengthen there. TAA not being able to defend is also going to hurt them, as it did against Fulham.

Sorry, but if you don't like the ENGLISH Premier League fixtures then simples.....go ELSEWHERE and coach. Honestly, I'm sick and tired of Johnny Foreigner coming over here and whining..... bu*ger off! You know the system before you sign your very, very lucrative contracts.

Liverpool have too much to do to catch up with Citeh. They have a very ageing squad and not much funds to spend. I think Spurs and Chelsea might finish above them this year.

Klopp is like the Liverpool fans .....moan, moan, moan

Liverpool are a team that will be competing/winning trophies come the end of the season, but they lose one game they were expected to win & they are whining like mad! I have three Liverpool pals & they are already writing off their best players after one game.

Thiago is a clever player but he is injury prone!
