Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 8th Mar)

Leeds Wednesday game shifted to 17.30 by Sky.

Not surprised tbh as after last week Leeds are box office again.

Re: Genius vs Evil

Its extremely odd but its not a crime. Do you enjoy Woody Allen films ? Marvin Gaye? Fathered a child with a 15 year old girl. Jerry Lee Lewis, married his 13 year old cousin, still had a successful career Jackson was very odd but thats not a crime, 2 of the men above are 100% guilty of crimes yet ...

Re: Genius vs Evil

Wether Jackson was a child molester or not will never be truthfully established. What us known is that he as grown man liked to have young children sleep in his bed. Children unattended by their patents, left alone with him time and time again. This is a fact. Legal? Maybe. Moral? You decide. Some e...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 8th Mar)

Yeah hopefully the Bristol back line will not understand Marinovics' Kiwi accent when he calls for a high ball and get into a tangle with their centre backs with hilarious and goal scoring results. :) Re being subjected to violence... We were attacked by a crowd of lads lobbing blocks of concrete fr...

Re: Bristol City v Leeds Utd Match Thread

My thoughts exactly BG. Do you remember when Alex Ferguson dropped his goalie (name just escapes me....Alex?) after the Wembley Cup Final v Palace? He brought in Loanee Les Sealey from West Ham (I think) for the replay who had an absolute blinder for Scum to win the cup. Hope this one is a bit rust...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thue 7th Mar)

Born in Wakefield and lived between Wakefield and Leeds. First game was v Scum in 1970 with my Dad, his mate and two boys. Then I would go on my own on the bus quite often until I was old enough to drive. Then I started taking my Mum to games and when I worked in the Middle East I would plan my ann...

Re: Bristol City v Leeds Utd Match Thread

I would take a point. Being doing some research.... which of course means nowt. IF Norwich, Leeds and the Blades and the Baggies replicate their previous results against their remaining opponents the final table will look like this: Norwich 97 Leeds 91 WBA 86 Sheffield Utd 81. I know my premise is h...

Re: Bristol City v Leeds Utd Match Thread

Bristol City sign emergency goalkeeper in time for the visit of Leeds United, New Zealander Stefan Marinovic.....Typical!! It's on Yorkshire Evening Post website but I don't know how to transfer it to here. (Not very good at computing) Done Bristol City have completed the signing of New Zealand goa...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thue 7th Mar)

Saiz would probably have been welcomed back by some of us this time last week. But hopefully Leeds can get their money for him and invest it in our future. Nice to see one of our loanees is doing well. A credit to the investment made in the Academy. What makes a proper football fan. Plastic is so de...

Re: Corporate

I've been a few times Ian and it's a really good 'do'. Arrive at 11.30 and get seated at your table. Usually a three course meal, waiter/waitress service. We've enjoyed the company of Norman Hunter, Paul Reaney, Allan Clarke, Mick Jones and Terry Yorth who wonder around chatting away to everyone an...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tue 5th Mar)

Been thinking something similar about Stacey Worsley. I know a family who sadly lost their wee fella to the same type of cancer as Toby four years ago. It overlapped with my own battle with the disease and their boy (I don't want to name him as they did get a lot of publicity over here)and I became ...

Just looking at the next round of fixtures.

By the time we play Bristol on Saturday it is possible we could be lying third, three points behind the Blades and five behind Norwich.

A real test of nerve there...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 4th Mar)

I think when it comes to being critical of players it is usually borne out of desperation sometimes. Footie fans tend to wear their hearts on their sleeves so when things go well we are on cloud nine, everything is possible in our minds and we can be overly optimistic as a result. Then we dont play ...
