Re: Little things that make you angry 😡

A group of lycra clad middle aged tossers riding their bicycles four or five abreast down the middle of the road who, when you try to pass, just turn around and give you the two fingered salute.

Re: Your Pint of choice this evening

Been on Allopurinol for years after an attack of gout. The pain of gout was far worse than when I broke my ankle playing foot back in the day. One tablet a day and I've not had gout since. No ill effects at all.

Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin

DCL is a decent target man who puts himself about and can hold up the ball but it is beginning to look like he cannot hit a barn from ten yard let alone a barn door.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 20th October) - Leeds performance just not good enough

Farke seemingly was happy in the way we played and dominated possession - we also had nineteen shots to Burnley's four - the difference was that Burnley only needed four shots to score two goals !! In our nineteen shots I believe that only FOUR were on target. I watched the second half and we had ...

Re: Burnley v Leeds United Match Thread

70% possession and x3 times as many shots as Burnley but hardly any if any on target. Why do we always have strikers who couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo ? This needs to improve rapidly or it will be too late.

Mike Lockwood died last Thursday long time marketing manager at ER in the Revie days. Lovely chap with some good tales to tell.

Re: Win, draw or lose at Burnley - Poll if the Day (15th Oct)

I think that we will manage a narrow win but am very nervous about holding out in the last ten-fifteen minutes. I think that a dose of vallium is needed before kick-off.

Re: Will you watch the England v Wales game tonight? Poll Of The Day (9th Oct)

Not a chance - I'm not spending 90 minutes of my life watching the most boring team in international football. If Wales were playing anybody else I would watch because of the Leeds interest.

Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin

He is a good target man but poor finisher (so far). Perhaps we could play with two up front with Piroe as the guy to make use of the knock downs rather like in the days when Jones was the target man and Clarke put them away. I realise that this would involve a change of formation but we cannot carry ...

Re: Leeds vs Spurs positives and negatives

P: More than held our own against a top side an created a host of decent chances.

N: Failed to take the chances created and a weak referee. If we do not start to put some of the chances away it will all end in tears.

Re: Leeds Utd v Tottenham Hotspur Match Thread

I thought we deserved a draw and am beginning to think that DCL is a reincarnation of Bamford. He missed three decent chances as he did in the Bournemouth match. Bogle's crossing was abject - In the conditions I can understand him putting one straight over the goal line but not three !! Anyway the ...

Re: Super League

The video ref fellow who gave the Saints try was the whistle blower in the Leigh v Wigan match last night. Had that mistake been made by a PL ref the fellow would have been suspended not rewarded. However don't forget that St. Helens are the RL equivalent of the Scum and get all the dodgy decisions ...

Tottingham were pretty much outplayed for most of the match but managed to come from 2-0 down to snatch a hardly deserved draw.

Re: Referee Watch....

Oliver had a very average match for a top referee - a good example is the free kick he gave which led to their first goal which wouldn't have been a foul in a children's touch and pass match.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 29th September) Two points dropped as Cherries snatch late draw

Oi, you festering footy fans, that was a bleeding stitch up, a travesty?! We were poised for glory, ready to crush those toe-rag opponents into the sodding turf, when, BAM! the ref, that fascist stooge in yellow and black, slaps on a gazillion minutes of extra time like some deranged yellow bellied ...
